Default Question about pipe for TT91FS

I was flying my H9 AT-6 a couple of days ago when the pipe just broke apart in flight just before the lock nut on the muffler end causing a flame out. Thankfully, I had enough altitude to go 'gear down' and land the plane without incident. Now I need a pipe, any one know where I could get one?

Thanks.

yes, try www.ehobbies.com for thunder tiger parts. they had everything i needed for mine, you may need to call them though unless you like looking at the entire tt parts listing.

Replace it with an "OS 91 surpass" pipe---same thread, but thicker material---Been there/Done that---Or replace the entire muffler assy. with a www.pspec.com muffler & be happy ever after!---another TT pipe will simply break again---

Thanks, I may have to go with an after market setup. I just got off the phone with Ace Hobby. They told me to send it in for inspection. Not sure what they have up their sleeve. I have two of these engines. I'm glad I was able to land the plane after the pipe broke in flight without crashing it. Thank God for altitude and airspeed.

Don't go with the OS muffler, it is a bit more restrictive. The tube (is that what you are talking about?) may or may not be thicker, I never noticed that the OS tube was thicker though it may be.

Yes, you're right; Don't use the OS muffler (Which I did not suggest) use only the pipe---Yes it is heavier gage material---
