Default ST 45 ABC problem

RE: Super Tigre GS 45 ABC

Just crashed a Rascal 40 w/ 45 (great combo) due to pilot error. Would appreciate any answers to:

1. Upon engine disassembly, noticed the allum prop hub has run-out. Looks like oem deffect. Suspect crank was dialed & IS DEAD TRUE! Cant believe it. How does one remove alum hub? Should I try to reseat it...or buy a new hub? The spinner backplate did run w/ some run out.

2. Is there a performance issue w/ removing & reinstalling the ABC piston / sleeve??

Since you crashed it the prop was bent in the crash. Use an automotive battery terminal puller to remove the prop driver.

Thanks

It was a violent crash & not the first one. If the prop driver deformed berfore bending the crankshaft, I'm gratefull SuperTigre designed it to fail. The ST has been a great runner.
