Default Piped Moki 2.10, Best prop?

Like it says, which one is best? I've heard of the Moki Ultra. Is it still made? I'm thinking 20 x 8 or 20 x 10. Thanks for any reply.

Can't get Moki Ultra anymore. The Menz Ultra prop is the closest. The 20x10 is what they claim 25 pounds of thrust at 7600 RPM but I don't believe it. I use a Bambula 20x8 and it will turn low 7000's. What kind of flying is this for?

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to use it on a OMP 79" profile Yak. So it's on a 3D machine. Should be under 12 pounds.

If it's 3D, I'd try the Bambula 20x8. It's got big paddles and pulls very strong. The prop is very light and makes for a quick transition. I would not use a 10 pitch because you want more diameter and less pitch. The 8 pitch is perfect. I use the Bambula props on my Moki 1.80 and 2.10. They are available here:

I had the Moki 210 on a OMP 80" edge and at 12 lbs. it was awsome!!! I used Master Airscrew classic series 20x10 and 20x8 both with very good results. These props weigh about 5 oz. but have wide blades and are pretty inexpensive (about $15) Strait and level at about 1/4 throttle. hover about 1/2 throttle. Blast out of hover at 3/4 throttle. You will not need full throttle with this combo!! You will not be dissapointed.

Bambula 20x8 only weighs 3 ounces. Normally props this size are around 5 ounces.

marzo91,

I have a Moki 2.10 and would like to try a tuned pipe on it. I am just looking for a small power boost that preserves throttle response. What pipe are you using and what has been your experience with it regarding power, tuning length, and throttle response?

I just got it a few days ago. I'm looking for tips too. If I get the hot set-up, I'll let you know.
