2.5 turns to start and go from there......it should start rich...
If you need to adjust the idle.....I start at 1.5 turns and go from there...
This works for 90% or more of the engines in use today.....

I have had several FP engines since I started flying....this works for me...... Just my $.01675 worth.........

We normally suggest opening the high-speed needle valve about 2-1/2 turns out from closed. This gives you a very rich mixture to start with.

The air-bleed screw should be set so that it blocks 1/2 of the air-bleed hole. We do this visually, by looking into the air-bleed hole.

The idle is leaned by backing out the air-bleed screw, and richened by turning it in.
