OK, if you have seen my other post, I have a tt .25 that is dying a slow death....

some point I need to replace it with an upgrade motor.. currently it is in a TT Lazy P-51, but would like to use it in other planes too
maybe combat spad, etc. etc.


Suggestions on a good .25 (or similar....larger is OK) sized engine that doesn't break the bank

should I step up to the .35 class of engine? WEbra .32? etc. etc.

Why not go "Cadillac" and get a small Saito? Or if you want to stay with two stroke the little Magnums are very good engines.

Get a GMS 32 they are great, if the carb is ok, if it isn't it is a quick fix. Although it may be a little to much for that plane. Anyway for the money I think they are great, If you want to spend more go with Bills idea four strokes are brilliant.

os .25 0r a little bigger, break in is a cinch.

If you're actually going to do combat, you need to check the rules and buy an engine that fits within the specs. If not, there's lots of choices. Magnums aren't bad. The TT .36 Pro is nice. Webra .32 or .36 are also nice.

If .25 is your top limit, go with the Webra Speed .25. If you can go slightly larger, run the Webra Speed .32. They'll outrun anything else in the size class. Very user friendly, too.

thanks all... as for combat.... it is just funfly combat with friends... no real classes so that is not an issue.....

Hmmm.... I've seen the .30 saito, but would that have the same as a .25 two stroke??
