Does anyone know on any enines that run backwards? I want to make a type of plane, and if I could get an engine that ran backwards it would really help a lot!
Thanks,

It would help to know the approximate size range of the engine you want to run backwards. All reed valve engines will run either direction just fine. Some shaft rotory valve engines have reverse rotation shafts available. If the engine has a detachable front housing it can be rotated 90 degrees and get close to equalling a reverse rotation shaft in timing.

Easily done with an Enya 80 or laser 70 4 stroke.
If two's are your thing, get a pair of Enya SS 40's or older OS Max or ST's with separate front housings, and cant the housings 90 degrees. They should then be able to un backwards.

O.S. used to make a reverse version of the .46. I used one on a Pica Duellist , and it ran just as well as the standard version. I may even have it around here, somewhere.
