HI JEFF, I'M HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY ENYA 45 ,HAS LOTS OF COMPRESSION,STARTS RIGHT OFF TRANSSION IS REAL GOOD THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS GETTING IT TO IDLE RIGHT
2900 RPM IS THE LOWEST I CAN GET IT TO IDLE AND STAY RUNNING AT THAT RPM WHEN I PULL BACK ON THE STICK TO SLOW IT DOWN IT JUST DIES OUT RUNNING NEW PLUG A-3 OS
AIR BLEED SET A HALF OF HOLE. THIS IS A OLDER ENGINE BOUGHT IN 1998 OR 99.HAVE CLEANED CARB . WHERE DO I GO NEXT ????? THE ENGINE RUNS TO GOOD ,HAS TO BE CARB.

I would try a different plug, like an Enya 3 to help with the idle. The other problem you might be having is that the motor still has not fully seated yet as evidenced by the good compression. Enya machines their motors to last a long time and sometimes can mean a longer than normal break in time.

Try the Enya 3 plug and close off the hole (rich) a little and see if that helps and let me know. IF it runs wide open clean for an extended peroid of time, chances are it is not the carb.
