I've been flying for a while now but mainly 2 stroke engines, so when i went out and got this saito ive become confused by what looks to be a fuel line connection underneth the engine. Ive checked the manual and cant see anything about it but if anyone knows what it is for i would gladly take the advise.

That's the crankcase vent. Horizon says to put a 3 inch or shorter piece of fuel tubing on it and let it exit the cowl. On a plane with the training wheel on the nose I sometimes just fix it to that. If you need longer use a larger diameter tubing. It is also the place to inject after run oil if you think you need to.
