Is it a good idea to remove the baffle & enlarge the exuast exit for performance if noise is not a problem?
I have a TT46 I did this to, before I completely thought it through. I always remove my baffle and it helps with loading up,
but not in conjunction with drilling the exit. Ill see next warm spell. Any ideas anybody? Sure would appreicate it,thanks

I routinely do that with my TT 46 Pro's. They respond quite favorably -- 300+ RPM gain with an APC 11-6, & no adverse effects, other than a modest increase in noise (the stock TT muffler is noisy to begin with, but is quite restrictive).
That engine really responds to the Tower/GMS/Hobbico "tuned" muffler, although there is even more noise.

As I already said -- no problems. The TT Pro doesn't have fuel draw issues unless the fuel line is very long. Also, don't use an in-line filter -- use a filter on the suction line on your fuel can.
