Converting Glo-4Stroke to gas ignition for long duration contest.
Hi,
I am in need of info concerning glo to gas-ignition conversions. This is for a project I am doing for a long distance RC contest. I have done this event before but stuck to glo fuel and avoided diesel 2 strokes because it was generally easier to keep the 4-strokes running with the altitude changes on the course. I will be running a motor from .30-.48 size depending on what will convert the best.
So, my questions are:
1. Where can I find gas ignition conversion kits?
2. What are some great running, reliable, economic (fuel consumption) motors you've used?
3. RF noise supression. Hints and tips. (we used one a long time ago and had issues with rf interference).
Thanks in advance!

Glow to gas conversion
Another source for your conversion project is RCIgnition.com in Az. Ralph is a true craftsman and has a wealth of knowledge and experience with conversions. He just finished one for me and I couldn't be happier. Antique

Thank you for the resources.
Now, does anybody have input on either the O.S. 30 or Saito .30 4-stroke motors? I have been trying to get more info on performance and reliability. I notice the OS boasts 30% more power than the .26, but that comes at a fuel consumption penalty I'm sure. Any info or experience is helpful.
