Guys I would appreciate some help
I have recently bought a webra 61. I have run it for a total of 50 minutes. The motor will not transistion from low to high. The motor will not run at full throttle for more than 1 minute without stopping. I have tried adjusting the low and high adjustments without success. I have substituted the carb from another webra and the motor runs fine. Am I doing something wrong? I have cleaned the carb with compressed air without success.
Any advice will be be appreciated.
Thanks Mouse Man

moose man: Is the engine the old style? Early ones had air bleed carb,I had one where the fuel line nipple was soldered into needle assy, had crack in joint. Some had slide valve carb ,won`t run with out pressure or pump. Are the two carbs alike? Don`t like to tell you this, switch parts one at a time. Like we used to say ,when it don`t run put a PERRY on it!! Well this is a start. big max 1935

Thanks guys
The carb is the speed carb. It is a new model. The carb I substituted was very similiar, the newer model had a little less metal on the body to save weight however it was essentially the same. I will check the solder joint at the fuel nipple. I will adjust the low end needle for the width you have recommended. Thanks guys for your help. I'm going to the field today to try again. I'll let you know how it goes.
