I have recently aquired an old O.S 46 (Fx i do belive)I tuned it today it has a some what high idle speed and a great highend speed but it is very boggy(struggles to stay turning) at idle, i find the rpm pritty high for idle but any lower it will stop. it strugles to get to high rpms when u put stick foward and stops when you pull the stick back.
what is going on???

G'day Mate,
Sounds like the idle mixture is too rich, lean it a small amount at a time & see the difference.
Be aware, as you lean the low speed the idle speed will increase, just as it does with a high speed adjustment, so you must slow it down by closing the throttle, a bit. Adjust until it picks up smoothly from slow idle.
