Does anyone know what the conversion from metric to inches is. Like a 3.5 equals a .21. What does a 4.9 equal out to? Thanks in advance.[]

3.5 x 0.061 = .21
4.9 x 0.061 = .30

convert it other way around

.30 x 16.3872 = 4.9

.21/3.5 = x/4.9

(.21 x 4.9)/3.5 = x

If you divide inches by six you get the metric volume =cc. For example a 60sized engine is 10cc. A 30cc engine is 1.8 cu.in. sometimes also called 180.

Easy to find the conversion as here:

1" are 2.54 cm, to find the volume of 1 cu.in: 2.54 cm x 2.54 cm x 2.54 cm = 16.38 cubic centimetre

To example how big are the engine in cc when the engine are at 0.40 cu.in: 16.38 cc x 0.40 cu.in = 6.552 cc

To example how big are the engine in cu.in when the engine are at 15 cc: 15 cc / 16.38 cc = 0.91 cu.in

Go get the converter program from http://joshmadison.com/software/convert/ as it's the neatest program you'll find to convert just about anything to anything else (with the possible exception of shoe sizes ).

http://joshmadison.com/software/convert/download.php takes you direct to the download page.
