Any Other Source for Iron Bay Fuel Regulators?
Talked with Iron Bay today and they will be out of Fuel Regulators for at least a couple of months. Is there another source for their regulator?

No other source for the Iron Bay regulator that I'm aware of.
Have you thought about using the Cline instead?

Not that one is better than the other. Both work well. Cline may have them in stock now, but I'd call to verify.

In reading some other discussions on RCU and talking with Iron Bay today, it seems that the Iron Bay regulator is most often successful using muffler pressure. Whereas the Cline requires a crankcase pressure tap. I was just hoping to keep things simple as my OS 91 FX doesn't already have the threaded tap on the crankcase backplate.

The Cline was the first design, uses muffler pressure on four strokes and you may place the tank anywhere in/on the A/C.
Iron Bay came some considerable time later and functions the same way. (Muffler pressure on four strokes; crank case pressure on two strokes)
I use Cline simply because "They work"------I can't say a thing about the actual performance of Iron Bay as I haven't used one. The biggest difference is the price --$15 more for the Cline---in my case I stay with what works FOR ME!
Cline (yes they are available) fills the bill.
You may reach Jim Cline at: 937-426-4167-----he does accept credit cards (at least Visa and MasterCard) and they ship promptly.
If you have any questions Jim will answer them.

I'm going by what is stated at the very top of the Cline's Regulator website:
"How it Works
The fuel tank is pressurized from 2 to 12 P.S.I. by a unique one-way check valve with the pressure from the crankcase of a two-cycle engine or from the exhaust of a four-cycle engine. This forces the fuel to the controller under that P.S.I."
The OS 91 FX that I was considering using the regulator on is a two-stroke engine. Maybe I'm misssing something.
