I just bought a NIB Como on ebay.
Does anyone have any information on this engine, I know Super Tigre produced them.

Yes they were made by Super Tigre and the parts would be interchangeable but that version has been out of Super Tiger production for many years. It would be difficult to find any parts.

Como engines were produced by Super Tigre, and in some sizes not available from ST, like the .29 amd .51. They were just as user-friendly as the STs.

The .29 is a good running sport engine. It has moderate power and is very easy to start and adjust.

The engine went out of production in the mid 70s, I believe, and it may be hard to find spare parts. However, if you give it the proper care, you shouldn't have to worry for a long time. The engine will do well on any plane designed for a .15 - .32.

Super Tigre made both a 29 and 51. The Como is the same engines.
