1979 O.S. .61 VF rear exhaust
Hello, This is a brand new, in the box engine, with all the original paper work, that has never been run.
I would like to sell it and have no idea what it may be worth, looking for any input, thanks.

I'd ask in the Classic Pattern forum.

Hobbico might also trade you a new engine for it:

I ran three of the VFs in pattern in the early eighties, and they were fine engines. You would ordinarily run them with a tuned pipe and a prop in the range of 11x7 to 11x7.5, turning 14,000 or better. They can be run with a muffler, if you can find one to fit the rear exhaust configuration. As to their value, your guess is as good as mine. I still have one in good shape but keep it "for old time's sake" I guess.
