Default Saito bearing R & R temperature

I am installing ceramic bearings in my Saito.

Before my wife gets home, would someone please provide me with the best oven temperature to heat the case to. I'm thinking along the lines of 325F ish.

Would it be recommended in cooling the bearing with freeze spray?

Thank you.

150-160 deg C is what I usually heat mine to and I don't bother freezing the bearings -- they generally fall right in.

I use 250 F on Saito and OS.

All my Enya engine cases have extremely tight case bearing fits and have had to press in the new front bearings even with the case heated.

Have you ever considered buying one of those small desktop type ovens? - cost less than $20 at the discount stores. They have a variable temperature setting & are surprsingly spacious.

Ideal size for the modelling bench, you won't upset "she who must be obeyed" & as an added benefit, when you get a bit peckish you can whip up a toasted sandwich in no time flat. And of course, washed down by cool beer from the fridge under the modelling bench[8D]
