Default West 50 V1 Nickel or Chrome plated sleeve

Just wondering if its nickel or chrome plating on the liner?

The Webras are nickel, is the West the same?

Thanks

I would have to guess that it probaly is nickel, but Tunder Tiger who also uses nickel do not have the issues that OS has had, and appears to again with some of there new engines.[X(]

West is beeing produced by Webra, so my guess is that they are nickel. No need to worry though, how often do you hear about a peeled Webra, TT or West?
Never, right

I have seen ONE Webra .50 GT that did peel its sleeve. But it was just one...

Webra did offer a true ABC version of their .40 (the Quickie model?). You can still obtain this P+L set.

Sadly, not of their .50 engine.

The only alternative to ABN is the ringed version.

I was hoping that the West, being hi -performance would offer true ABC construction, sadly it is not.
Good thing is...that everyone has nothing but good things to say about this motor and no complaints of peeling on the West.
