SAITO 125-TOPFLITE OR ZINGER PROP, WHICH IS BETTER???
I recently purchased a Saito 125 and wish to use about a 16X6 wooden prop for my application. I see TopFlite props are made of Beechwood and cost less and Zingers are Maple and cost more. I have always used Zingers before but was curious if the TopFlite props are equal to the Zinger.

RE: SAITO 125-TOPFLITE OR ZINGER PROP, WHICH IS BETTER???
I have used both zingers and topflites in the smaller sizes and it seemed like the topflites gives a few rpm more because of the more narrow blades. I use APC 15x6 and 16x4w on my Saito125. APC 16x6 is a good prop. but loaded the engine a bit too much on the 10% nitro fuel I have.

IMO, If you want a decent propeller performance, stay away from both. If you want a good wood prop, use Xoar, JXF or NX.
APC is always a good alternative.
