Default YS91 Motor Mount

For those running a YS91 what motor mount are you using? I have been using the Great Planes but many make me feel that only a soft mount should be used. Just curious.

I've run mine on a JTEC Snuf-Vibe soft mount and an MK rail isolation mount. I've never run them on a hard mount but I don't see why it would be a problem. It might be a bit noisier with more vibration in the airframe, but OK otherwise.

I have 2 mounted solidly. Both are on Great Planes mounts. One is in a CAP and has been there 4 years or so. The other is in a Great Planes Spacewalker. No problems hard mounting them at all.

Default YS .91 Mount

I also use the stock GP mount that came with my 1/4 scale SpaceWalker. Have had no problems with this mount and the YS .91. By the way, this is a great combination!

Thanks everyone. I believe I will stay with the GP mount I have been using.
