I need a new .61 engine, and I can no longer rationalize 160.00 for an OS. What about Tower engines? Anyone have any experience with them? Or any other idea woulw be appreciated.

I'd strongly recommend the Tower 75. It's a real powerhouse, flip start great, and weigh almost the same as the 61. For the price and performance, they are tough to beat.

I bought a Tower .46 engine and my only complaint is that I cannot get it to shut off even with the carb barrel closed all the way. Not as bad as keeping an engine running though 
I think the carb leaks a bit of air around the barrell which keeps it running. I just put my finger over the muffler and that kills it.
