Default ASP .91s Engine

Hi
Just thought i would give a recommendation of a cheap engine. I bought a Panic Bibe with a glass fuz and wanted a reasonable engine to put in it. After much deliberation i decided to buy a ASP .91s 2 go in it, it was recomended a .60-.72 engine but i thought i would give the.91s asp ago as it only cost me £80 with quiet silencer and remote needle.

The whole plane can out at bang on 6lbs which i thought was light. I put 2 tank fulls of fuel through to run it in then couldnt wait any longer so i put a 14x4 zinger on, took it to the field and WOW what an engine it started first flick every time after priming. did not falter or splutter and the pull on it is amasing. 10lbs of static thrust. this baby can prop hang well sort of if i was any good !!! on 1/4 throttle then open her up and watch her go. Mind the torque.

Any way if ur thinking of gettin an os.91 reconsider and go with the ASP.91s at half the cost you cant go wrong.

Default ASP .91s Engine

Great news. I just ordered an ASP 91 marine version from Just Engines last week. It is the same motor with a cooling head and flywheel. It just 2 tanks to break it in, wow. What would you compare the power to, in your opinion. Does it hang with say a Webra, or Ys, Super Tiger??

I don't really see the reason for excitement here. Of course you're gonna get stellar performance with a .91 on a 6 lb plane

Im making the point that the ASP.91 is in my opinion a very good engine for the money. Especially when you compare them to mds's price wise and quality of more expensive engines.
