Default Quadra

I just bought a new Quadra Q35? 40? How do you tell? Can anyone compare this motor to a ST 2000 0r 4500?

As you can see this is my first gas motor.

Thanks

Default Quadra

New as in New In Box but been around for awhile or new as Brand New bought from a shop? A pic would be helpfull too. Does it have a steel prop hub or aluminum? Does it have a wire going under the flywheel? With the muffler off, look at the piston, 1 ring or 2? The older 40cc engines had 2 rings, the 35cc and newer 40cc engines had 1 ring. My Q40 "Old points style" swings a Zinger 18X6-10 @ 7400rpm. My ST 2500 swings a Mezjlik 18X8 @ 8900 rpm. Your engine choice will depend on your plane choice. The Quadra is on a Dymond RC Rearwin Speedster, the ST 2500 is on a SIG Cap 231EX.
