Help- My OS120 version111 pump
I should know the reason for this but I don't so help is appreciated. I have a new OS 120 pumped 4stroke. Its in a TF P-47 and I turn a 16-8 prop. The engine runs fine in the air for 4-5 minutes then bogs down and runs rich emitting a very noticeable smoke trail with approx. 15- 20% power loss. The plane is heavy at 13.5 lbs. I run a 16-8 on a standard OS 120 in my P-51 (10 lbs) and it runs great. Plugs are both OS F type and same fuel is used in each engine. Is the extra wt in the P-47 to much for a 8 pitch? Any suggestions.....
