Irvine 53 secondary needle
Would be grateful if someone could tell me how many turns out they have the secondary needle set at ? I know main needle is supposed to start at 2.5.

Ditchit,
Any position you start from is a 'trial and error' situation.
Just start the engine in any position and diagnose if it should be enriched, or leaned.
Start with 1.5 turns open and check from there.

Irvine 53 secondary needle
The low needle on Irvines come preset from the factory. It should run quite well at the original factory setting. As long as this setting hasn't been changed it will require only a small amount of fine tuning to optimize your engine to your particular environment.
