Default Run Time

Due to space limitations, I can only use a 6 ounce tank for a .46. I have never run this small of a tank on this size engine. Without setting up a test stand, what might my run time be at full throttle?

i run 6oz tanks on my proflies, they last quite a while (i can putt around and it will last more than 30 min) on a .40 os gpa and about 25 min on a ax55 flying just above idle
i have a 8oz tank with a gms.47, i add just under a half tank after about 8min of imac flying (most of the time above .5 throttle)

you should be fine

I had a plane with a 6 oz tank and a Enya SS40BB engine. On the ground at WOT it would run 7 min

In flight at partial throttle I had no problem flying for 10 min.

Thanks.

I think with throttle management a 20 min flight should be just fine.

Tanks again!!!!!!

I have an Evolution .46NT that would probably run 10 minutes on 6 oz. with 15% and an 11x7.

Drop the nitro content to 5%, readjust the needles and it should run a bit longer with a bit less power.

I thought the rule of thumb was 1oz per minute per cubic inch @ WOT.
