Black Horse Home Run kit
Hi,
I've just bought a Black Horse Home Run kit. I plan to fit it with a Rossi 40 Engine with a tuned pipe.
My question is; the engine mount is bloted into the plane already, it will place the engine inverted, I want to remount this engine at 45 degree's and run the pipe along the bottom of the plane.
Does this idea sound like it will work? Will I have any problem with a tuned pipe running along the bottom of the plane?
Thank you

You can get manifolds that will take a side exhaust engine and bring it round the back as if it was a rear exhaust engine. They are called Swan neck I think
Try Just Engines, they are the Rossi agent in the UK and have plenty of Manifolds for different applications. This link will get you started, then give them a ring.

Otherwise, should not be a problem. I have just completed a Flair Lark and have a Just Engines purple pipe running down under the fus.

Of course it will work and in my opinion is the best way to handle that situation as long as your throttle pushrod location can be worked out.
