The McCoy .09 that my dad and I played with a lot when I was a kid. We mounted that engine on a prop driven teather car, with a cut down prop, and boy did that thing scream in circles. No mufflers back in those days of course, and sometimes we would take the pint of (red can!) Cox thimble drome fuel with the high nitro and fill up the McCoy 09. When that engine would lean out at the end of the run, that little car would be flying around in circles so fast that it barely touched the ground. Kids would hear it from blocks away and come running. Mostly we would hide behind something when it would scream like that at the end of it's run though. I think that is when I first started having hearing loss..... but such fun!
