Help identify vintage RC Plane?

I know this is a longshot but I'm hoping someone can identify the plane in the picture. Taken in 1955 in San Diego. I do know the plane flew as rudder-only escapement, might have been adapted from a free flight design. My father is the builder, he's 93 now and has no memory.

** UPDATE ** I think I may have the answer.. I spent some time scrolling through the Aerofred website and stumbled on the "Live Wire Senior" Looks like a good match.
I'd post a link but although I'm far from a newbie to model aviation, I'm still new to this site.

Looks easy enough to build. Either glow or electric power. Make the rudder bigger, add an elevator and you would have a nice 3 channel r/c plane. You could print it out at a different size too. Make it twice as big, or 1/2 the size. It says it is for a .19 to .23 engine. That would be perfect for a .30 sized four stroke glow engine.

Now to start adaptations for modern multi-channel RC gear and converting these plans into a format for my Laser Cutter.

Nope.
I found the plans my Dad had... amazing he still had them.
I also received copy of the plans from Portugal- matched.
Live Wire Senior. no trainer.
I also discovered an 8mm movie my mom took with him flying it at what used to be an auxiliary airport used by the marines during WWII, which is now San Diego Miramar College.
I understand it was originally just "Live Wire" but the later came out with a smaller one and eventually several variations so the original had Senior added to it.
Dunno how true that all is - i wasn't born until the year after it was originally sold

Got the plans from Aerofred for the Live Wire Senior. Coming from Portugal they took awhile.. Very nice copy, every bit as good as you'd expect from the original.
