Default RRc Buckineer,

Kinda wondering if any one out there has built an RC 73 inch WS Buckineer. Talking about the SAM version with spoilers and about 60 to 80 gas. I’ve been repairing my Champ after a mid air AA Industries old Nolsen Kit. But I’ve also been building that Buckineer EE Interprises version No kit, but a Scratch built dream. Ben buckle out of England made a kit and I think still has them in full kit.and EE Interprises copy that same design but made a 73 inch version with spoilers. I plan on a four cycle to power maybe an Os 70,really depending on my weight. Right now the fuselage is weighing in at 2.4 lbs. it’s not complete lots of Balsa plank in the front. Planning on heavy silk. The wings are weighting about 2.2 lbs. but I still haven’t installed the spoilers. I shorten up the spoilers to about 9 inches by 2 inches using a aileron thin servo. Right at 4.2 inches it will be direct drive just up down. I can control the throw I hope, any way that’s the plan. Just wondering if any body has built that plane. I know lots of ARFs and not many guys building. That’s sad but that Electric craze created a lot of beautiful models right up to 1/3 scale. Even U Comtrol ARFs have hit the scene. Sign of the times. AJ
