My original VK Cherokee plan also shows it at 11mm behind the back edge of the main spar and states to balance inverted.

Several years ago i came across the original velum negstives for VK Cherokee at a yard sale. Bouhgt them for about $5. Have them in the basement and plan one day putting them in frames in the workshop. they look neat as they are reverse of what a standard set of plans look like. All black velum with white lines. Up close it is hard to see exactly what they are. You have to stand back abit to see that is actually there.

Thanks guys, if that is the case I know I was flying it very nose heavy years ago. I'll try that with my elevator on low rate for sure.

Guys are you talking about the 65" wingspan Cherokee calling for a .40 to .50 engine? If so Oz has it now for download.
