DeBolt Champ
Try a DeBolt Champ. You will have a true Vintage design RC model with a 56 inch wingspan suitable for a 30 engine.
It was fist introduced in 1955 with a minor update in 67 & finally a Midwest kit in 1980.
You will have to scratch build as the kits have been out of production for a long time.
Good luck,
Bob G

Agree with Bob G. 100% on deBolt Champ
Hi boberos;
Greetings to you from the 'Oven'.
I fully agree with Bob G above on Hal deBolt's Live Wire Champ. It is without a doubt the sweetest flying model design ever, you will not go wrong building this design. I have built several, and love'em all.
Happy 4th to all, and best regards from sunny and real hot Phoenix,
Joe Nagy.

You are looking for the "Pilot" (OK Models) Aeronca Champ...it was for a .25-.30 size engine and is pretty close to scale looking.
Unfortunately, they are no longer produced since the factory burned down in Japan many years ago...I've seen a few on Ebay awhile ago.
The "Live Wire Champ" is called a "Champ" but it is not an Aeronca Champ...just a loose representation for sport flying.
