Great Planes Soldering?
I'm wondering if someone over at Great Planes could answer a couple of questions. 1)Does either the PT-19 or STA-M require soldering? 2)Whats with the Servo reversing, can't you just why connect them parrelell? Thats it for now.

RE: Great Planes Soldering?
The models you mention are ARF kits. The only soldering involved is soldering a few clevises to their pushrods.
When two servos are used for elevator, a "Y" harness will have them both turning in the same direction, say clockwise when you pull 'up' elevator. In order to provide the proper control surface movement, one servo will have the arm down and one will have the arm up. This gives the two sides of the elevator a different pushrod geometry, which results in unequal throw. You need a computer transmitter and mixing to get the same geometry for both elevator sides. or you can use a mixing "Y" harness.
