Has there been a change to the Monokote formula? I have been having a terrible time with it shrinking up tight. When covering open wings or stick built fuselages, the covering stretches out a lot but but doesn't shrink back up nearly as much. I pulled out an old roll of transparent green which I have had lying around about 3 years and covered the bottom of a wing by pulling it tight, sealing the edges, and hit it with a heat gun. Perfect wrinkle free finish. I covered the top of the same wing in the exact same manner with a new roll of white and ended up with a wrinkled up sloppy mess. The old roll of green also seemed to be a lot stiffer than the white straight off the roll. It is suddenly a real chore using Monokote, almost to the point of swithcing to UltraCoat. What's up with it?
