Topflite P47 Gold Edition
Just getting back into the hobby after a long layoff and I am just starting to build the 60 size TopFlite P47. I would like to power it with OS 1.20/4stroke (for the sound). One review I read said that they first installed a ST90 but due to cooling problems went to a ST75. Do you think there would be a cooling problem with the 1.20? (May have missed it but haven't seen this addressed in any of the other forums). Thanks, Dave

RE: Topflite P47 Gold Edition
Cooling problems with the SuperTigre G-90 would have been due to the in-cowl muffler used, which will overheat a 90-size engine but not a 75. As long as airflow goes through the fins of the cylinder, the engine will get cooling. You may have to build baffles to make sure of this.

RE: Topflite P47 Gold Edition
Thanks very much for the quick response. Very helpful. Looks like the 1.20 should
work well (specially since it is shown on the plans too). Thanks again.
