Default TF Sea Fury retract install

Hi Bax, I'm building the Sea Fury and have come to the part where I need to install the retracts. I decided to go with the CJM 1/2" oleo struts instead of the scale retracts because of cost. I dry fitted the retracts with the wheels and found they stick up way beyond the sheeting. Would it be OK to lower the mounting rails in the wing so everything will be flush?

Depending upon the type of retracts and their installation method, you'll have to adapt the structure to make sure they work the way you want them to. Depth of mount, angle, reinforment, etc. all are up to you.
