Default GP Easy Sport 40 - Spar sticks above ribs

Hi,
There is a discussion going on in the Kit Building forum ... see:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_40.../anchor/tm.htm

It was suggested that I post a link here to see if there was any advice from the reps as to known problems or ideas?

If the spar is proud of the ribs, then the slots may be too shallow, or a too-thick piece was put into the kit for the wing spar.

Thanks for the response. Since it is glued on and I appear to have two options:

1. Debond, trim the slots (all of them) and re-add the spar
2. Sand the spar down to be flush

Which of these two would you recommend?
