PT-60 Taildragger mod
I have a PT-60 kit and I'd like to modify it to a taildragger. Where would be the best place to put the main wheels? I'd like to use the same main wheel assembly that came with the kit. Also can you recommend a tailwheel assembly?

>Put the AXLEs of the mains even with the leading edge of the wing.

>aluminum LG (Just bolt through the gear)

When the airplane's completed, and in level-flight position, you want the main wheels to have their centers just below the leading edge of the wing, or slightly forward of that point. You can examine the plans to see where they have to go, and then just install the regular main-gear blocks in the location that will put the wheels where you want them.
