Default Matt Chapman 46-size Cap

Hi,

I recently bought the smaller MC Cap 580 and found the covering badly wrinkled. While this is to be expected, it is proving difficult to deal with in this model due to the layers of colour trim which all seem to shrink at different rates.

Do you have any suggestions for getting the covering to look at least half decent on my model?

Thank you,
David Smith, Elimäki, Finland

Normally, if the covering was severely wrinkled, we'd suggest that the model be returned, but since you're in Finland, the only suggestion we have is to carefully re-shrink the material. It will add time, but will likely be easier than trying to return the model for warranty replacement.

Thanks, do you recommend heat gun or iron for the best result?

You'll have to decide that...whatever tool is best for the particular job. Even a small trim iron may be needed at times.
