Default TF Giant P-47 Tailwheel problems

Any advice on fitting the Robart tailwheel? It mounts too low at the stock slot on F8 for the lower mounting brace to the point where when extended, the boom is too much in the way of the stringers and it requires too much trimming of said stringers to the point where they are not effective. Also, mounting the reccomended 1.1/2 tailwheel requires me to cut deeply into former 9 to allow the wheel to pass on retract. Something does not seem right. If I modify it to be mounted higher into the fuse, it gets in the way of the pushrod tubes....help!!!

You have to mount it so that it works. Maybe add some additional stringers so that the skin has the support it needs. It's an option that requires a bit of imagination and work on the builder's part. You modify as needed, and add structure where you need it to keep everything sound.
