Mike,
The ballends that you need are 3.85mm in diameter, Microheli has them, they come in packs of 5. The screw that holds them to whatever you use them on, doesn't have a nut (so secure'em good). The description doesn't say what size socket head cap screw they use, but I'm almost sure it's 1.5mm x 0.35mm that what size I made the stud on mine, so it would fit the stock servo horn.
I also 2nd the use of the plastic blades from HD, they're pretty darn tough, even bad dings in the blades can be trued up with a few strokes of a file, rebalance them & your good to go. Have you tried the "glow-in-the-dark" white blades from HD? I prefer there look during daylight hours, but the "slight" glow of them in the dark, on the kitchen table is cool too!

Mike,
Good to see you got your new heli! I got mine on the 20th, and have been so busy the last couple of weeks, I have not had a chance to align the blades. They are only about 1/4 inch out, so no problems there. They (Hobby Services) also sent my CNC parts, plastic blades and training gear back too, so now I have a spare plastic head, fly bar, and training gear.
I also got my $50 merchandise rebate, so that will go towards LiPo and Charger for more power, and flight time. I'm saving for the brushless, and ESC next!

I've already got a 7CHP coming from Canada I bought from a guy and it's taking forever to get through customs - what a PITA!

I realize your post is over a year old, just thought I'd jump in there. I do not get on this web-site at all, stumbled across it today while researching info on the web to help my father Bob Pardo of Pardo's Push with his book.
There are a number of naysayers out there - but the story is true. Thanks for keeping it alive!
