Default MX400 Landing gear

For the few of us that own an MX400 or 400 Pro you
know how fragile the stock landing gears are.

I've repaired or replaced mine several times.

This latest time I bought a landing gear set for the
E-Flite B-400.

I made four "J" hooks out of the threaded ends of
4 control rods. They go down thru the B-400 struts
and hook onto the MX frame. A 2-56 nut holds them
on.

They work great and are more flexible. Thay are a
bit taller too which keeps my tail rotor out of the
grass.

Might be worth a try when the need arises...

Default RE: MX400 Landing gear

I've actually strapped t-rex gear onto mine, using zip ties, the ties give it a bit of slop to help out with hard landings...
