I'm pretty new in heli flying and I got some trouble getting it rigth. I have a shuttle +, a Futaba 7c and a futaba gyro 401. Can someone give me some advice on the gyro parameters? I can juse from N 100% to A 100% in all three idle (N, 1 and 2) in the manual it says:
norm NOR 100%
IDL1 NOR 70%
IDL2 NOR 70%

What is the difrense between A and N? etc....

On the GY-401 "N" is normal or rate mode and "A" is AVCS or heading hold.

Hi,
Me again. Do any one have a better PI-curv and TH-curv? I have an O.S. 37 and the curvs in the manual says:
TH-CURV: POS1 POS2 POS3 POS4 POS5
Norm 0.0% 30.0% 44.5% 65.0% 100.0%
IDL1 70.0% 60.0% 60.5% 75.0% 100.0%
IDL2 80.0% 70.0% 70.5% 80.0% 100.0%
PI-CURV: POS1 POS2 POS3 POS4 POS5
Norm 20.0% 42.5% 65.0% 77.5% 90.0%
IDL1 15.0% 33.5% 52.0% 68.5% 85.0%
IDL2 15.0% 26.0% 37.0% 58.5% 85.0%
but it I dont get the wanted RPM. My ZX with a 32 size and the manual curves have the rigth RPM? any suggestion?

Is the RPM too high or too low?

Basically the same curves from your ZX should work on the Plus. Same dimensions etc. Just the 37 will put out more power and possibly a higher RPM.

What is the pitch curve degree amounts that correspond with the percentages you listed.

Thanks!
Jeff

Hi,
The RPM is too low and the pitch curve degree is:
Hovering Loop Roll Auto-rotation
High pitch 8~9 8~9 7~8 10
Hovering 5~6 3 0 -
Low pitch -3 -5 -5 -5
