Default HS-5665MH and HS 5685MH servos

I think these are relatively new servos from Hitec. I did some searching here and on other sites as to their usage. So far, it seems the 5665 servo is primarily used as a throttle servo. I would like to know if these servos would be a good choice for an Aeroworks 60-90 Extra 300 powered by a DLE20 engine. I was thinking 5665 for ailerons and elevator and the 5685 for a pull pull rudder. Would these servos do a better job than the HS 985 MG? I want to learn 3D flying and want to know which servos would be best for that application in the airplane mentioned. The plane will use a 2 cell 2300mAh A123 battery for both ignition and receiver.

Thanks Mike

These servos are sport level high voltage servos. The 985mg is a better choice IMO but they are not rated for the higher 2s lipo batteries to run straight off of. If you are not going to use a 2s battery to power your system then the high voltage rating won't matter.

I see you listed you are going to use A123 cells (not sure how I missed seeing that yesterday [X(] ) Any servo we have with a 6 volt rating is fine to use with the A123's direct (no regulator needed) so the 985mg would be a much better choice with out jumping up to the premium level servos. You can also go digital with the 7985mg.

Thanks again, just ordered four 985MG servos from TBM.
