Hi
I have an Extra 330L with a 3W70twin. The The plane can hold up to 2 servos per wing. Is it ok to use two HS5645MG per wing using a Y Harness, so I could connect two digitals to only 1 CH. I am not so sure is there is a problem in doing this. I heard something negative, not sure.
I could also use only one single HS5995 per wing or HS5955 perhaps? not sure if HS5955 will be ok or if 5995 will be too much (using also one HS5995 for rudder, two HS 5645 on elev. powered by two NIcad JR extra 1400ma, different ports and switches)
I really appreciate your recommendation.
Alex

My Feedback: (31)
The 5955's would be a good choice for single servo installtion and my preference for this application.
As long as you use quality HD wyes and extensions there are no problems using wyes with Hitec digitals with the exception of early release revision v1.04 Hitec digitals. These servos originally had an OEM compatibility issue when paired with Futaba PCM RX's on wyes driven form a single channel source. Hitec realized there was a problem and updated a component value to alleviate the problem. Hitec offers free upgrade service for those affected by this short coming. To identify if this a problem or not simply connect two Hitec v1.04 digitals servos to a wye and a Futaba PCM RX, they either work properly or not.
