Dual elevator servos and aileron diff?

When i have the ailevator active it says to use CH 2 and 5.The ailerons require CH 1 and 5 also with differential active.Do i plug the left aileron into CH 6? because i tried and it works like a flap? what am i doing wrong?I would like to run dual elevator servos on seperate channels and also my ailerons.I am using the Optic 6

I know it's been five years since your post, but was wondering if you ever got an answer. I'm in the same situation because I'm using a 7 channel reciever with my 9C. Please reply if you can help or want more information.

Using a Hitec Spectra module and a Hitec Optima 7 transceiver in a Futaba 9C relates
to the RF output only, channel mixing remains within in the Tx menu.
