Eclipse Q-PCM Update Info
Hitec is pleased to announce the release of the new Eclipse Q-PCM version. This new technology allows for signal processing that is up to twice as fast as other PCM receivers on the market, providing instantaneous response and precise control.
Do you have an Eclipse and want Q-PCM? You can get it!
Here’s what you need to do…
Send us your Eclipse transmitter and we’ll upgrade it with Q-PCM capability and a new HFD-07RH Q-PCM receiver with crystal, for just $99.95 plus $5.95 shipping and handling. Or we can just upgrade your transmitter only for $24.95 plus $5.95 shipping and handling.
Q.)What other changes are in the new software?
A.) The primary addition is the Q-PCM capability but there are a few other small changes.
1. Choice of standard FM (Positive or negative shift) or Q-PCM Capability
2. Auto trim display.(Just move the trim lever and the setting displays automatically)
3. Model Naming screen closer to model select. (One screen away instead of three)
4. Model Name displayed at start up.
5. Software Version #
Q.) What are the advantages of the Q-PCM receiver?
A.) The primary advantage of the Q-PCM receiver is its ability to go into a “failsafe” or “hold” position if there is interference. It also helps filter out any excess RF noise from ignition engines and metal to metal contact.
Q.) Are any other PCM receivers compatible with the Eclipse w Q-PCM?
A.) No, PCM technology is proprietary between brands.
Q.) Will my old PCM receiver from my Hitec Prism 7X work with it?
A.) No, the Q-PCM is new technology and the Eclipse will only work with the 07RH Q-PCM RX.
Q.) If I get the update will it still work with my FM receivers?
A.) Absolutely, you will still be able to operate any manufactures FM receivers as you did before.
Q.) What type of aircraft should I use the Q-PCM receiver in?
A.) You can use it in any airplane, but they are used more often in helicopters, larger, ignition engine aerobatic, scale, and turbine powered aircraft.
Q.) I’m still confused, is there someone I can talk to about it?
A.) Sure, give us a call at (858) 748-6948, or e-mail us at [email protected] and we would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Mike,
As flying season has just started in the northeast, what's the turnaround time for the upgrade. Will this price be good when winter comes around?

The new eclipse is now available in Australia, when you buy one make sure it's the latest version as shops are still trying to offload old stock.
the upgrade should be available in Aus by the end of August
