Got it, manages to fit it between the TVPs, looks really nice and clean, Took er for a run, need to crank down the double nutted slipper clutch, and re locktitle some screws!, other then that it went great! Also installed the hyper sway bars and got opted the nitro savage springs for some strong and mild rated ofna buggy ones with 35qw oil. Im happy with it now. Will run it tomorrow, weather permiting..

I blew the center trans and a front diff (both were because my friends dont know how to drive 4s) Im turning down the punch control aswell..
made myself a center skidplate...

The rear diff after 1+ hours of running on 4s. No signs of wear on it, Good Job GCM!

a small video of me running today.. I was driving while camming, so please bear with me. you can hear the stripped trans, but that didnt stop me.

4S is just a little too much for the E-Savage drivetrain... 3S is the magic level of performance v. reliability.

Your truck looks super tough though... Unfortunately, as far as I know there aren't any good diff upgrades that are going to prevent this from reoccuring.

Looks good and strong man. I ran 2 - 2S SMC 6000 Lipo's in my BL E-Savage set-up. I had the upgraded bevel gears, not sure if that is what you broke, those look smaller. Maybe not? I'm suprised the transmission broke....I did not run into any tranny issues with mine. Maybe your motor has more power? I wonder if you could cram a Flux HP tranny in there, that would be sweet?

Turns out it was the pinion gear in the rear diff. it wore down just enough to slip. Changed it for a new one and i was good to go again. Also limited throttle startup to 75% because of all the torque. Im going to gear up 2 teeth and run 20/66 then will adjust throttle accordingly. Ordered myself a 2.4 ghz FS gt3b with an additional reciever, should be here in ~1 week. Also have some misc stuff coming from hobbyking just to make it look neater altogether. Its been holding up well, considering ive let my buddies drive and they are constantly WOT, which will break stuff on any truck..

For filming, you should check a dollar store for a small tri-pod to hold your camera. works well for me. lol
also someone said emaxx shafts fit, but which shafts and where? and is it the steel cvd's? or the plastic half shafts? I'm hoping the cvds cause the got the boots lol, and the lhs has a set.

No its the plastic email sliders, they are more durable then the hpi ones. Im running 2 modded female shafts joined by a brass male shaft. Very strong.

Ya, I run T/E-Maxx plastic sliders as well. They do seem to hold up better.

Yup, I ran the T-maxx sliders and they hold up MUCH better than the HPI ones.

Re: E savage build
Gave it a solid 25+ minute run, lipo was barely warm, MMP was an ice cube, and the motor was warm, i left my hand on it for 10+ seconds no problem. Got some video for you guys. Once lipo returns to room temperature going to Charge/Balance it. MMP LVC works perfectly! Im really glad i adjusted the punch settings on it, its A LOT more controllable now even on 4s...
Heres some video of this noons run. You might have to turn your monitor sideways to view LOL sorry about that...

Its on my 2mp phone so bear with me on quality...

anyone know the length of the half shafts? fr, rr, mids? I don't have anything to measure the stockers so I can compare them to some cvd's or dog bones at the lhs.

Ran another pack through it today, all week has been 5+ degress celcius so its hard not to take advantage! Still cannot believe the double nutted red loctited slipper comes loose! Oh well, quickfix i guess. Re shimmed diff as i didnt have it touching pinion gear enough.. So i have 1 shim on either side of diff, as apposed to both on the opposite side of ring gear.. Still buttery smooth, will just hold up better know i presume, Had to Re locktite a couple screws as all the mud and hard bashing made them back out a bit! Still an awesome truck to drive !

I left it for liek 5 minutes haha... Well, hit a tree today, cracked an a arm inhalf HAHAHA.... swapped it out with another one i had laying around, apart from that, no problems!

It is a little slow for my liking though, a little faster would be nice, i have a 20t pinion coming, so i will be running 20/66..

The motor, i think its a 540 TBH.... Its only 2.5" long, but its a 5mm shaft and 36mm diameter.

shops a mess! got the savage dirtying the floor, and the tb02 torn apart on the table, its waiting on a new chassis..

Do you have a part# for the emaxx halfshafts? lhs doesn't have any in stock today and they claim it won't fit, but the one on their shelf is the monster mamba with 1/2shafts thick as a roll a dimes lol.
