have you tried changing glo-plug(hotter or colder)?also,if at anytime during that 9 months did you happen to check the running temp of engine?if it got too hot, which from what you describe sounds like it,you might be ready for the HPI engine trade in program.

also, for some suggestions on the half-tank problem.try extending the lenghth of the fuel line from the exhaust,up to three coils in lenghth,to the tank.another fix that worked for me was an in-line filter,i robbed the one off my exterminator(XTM),have had no problems since.

i agree i think it sounds like it needs a new glow plug.I recomend a Mcoy Mc 9 or O.S. glow plug i had the origional savage but sold it to buy somethin else and then i sold that to but a savage ss kit, jus missed the monster. but anyways i recomend checkin the glow plug and or maybe it's time for a rebuild.

NOPE!!! Its the other way round, get back to the T/E-Maxx dumpyard forum, I knew someone who had a maxx, he started off with it well, he was REALLY good about breaking it in, but then it died, the hobby store didn't know what to do, they said get a Terra Crusher(becasue the Savage wasn't out yet!)

PS: The stock Tmaxx is the WORst!

I am entirely new to this part of R/C. But I am into airplanes and helicopters too. That there is a helicopter header tank. And the brackets are exactly like the helicopter ones.
