JUSTPASSEDU if you want to start low you just have to install the IRC lower shock mounts upside down like in this picture. Hope that helps.

my flux 5t conversion by tcscrawlers.com

main upgrades is rear hub carriers by integy, dx3s radio, cen genesis tires with 23mm hubs, and hd drive gear
running 17/44 and extended axles off the 5.9 savage. since the pic i build a tray inside the tvps for the batteries, and took the boxes off the sides. added a little more weight which worried me cuz its pretty heavy already. also thinking about making a skid plate for the bottom but not sure the added weight is worth it.

@ wolfie1... That paint job is SWEET. Ilike it. NIce work.I have the same motor in my Sav XL. Are you still running the 3-spd tranny? If so, how isit still functioning?I stripped the idle gear and broke a few teeth on the drive gear in my 3-spd after only about a quart of fuel thru the LRP. HPI sent me new gears to rebuild but I don't know if it will be worth the time. I'm running the 2-spd now which I'm having that issue with. I'll post some pics of my Sav later.

Nice shock covers. Where'd you get them? Also, how do you embed the pics in the message area. I'm fairly new to this forum stuff. It's not allowing me to paste my pics in.

hey brio thanks im running the 3 speed with the high speed 3rd gear and bp diffs, killed the gearbox recently, the front bearing collapsed on the output shaft which wrecked all the gears except 2 and the front casing of the gearbox, i just put the 3 speed back in cause i love hearing it change gear, but thats not bad cause its got about 9-10 gallons on it now with the lrp

well I finally got of my lazy ass and took a pic of my Savage .25 to BL conversion

So far only disappointment I have with it is the castle system I decided to use that hates my radios and will not let me calibrate it. I'm currently thinking about getting a HW BL ESC and using that. Other than the castles ESC sucking the thing runs great.

And if anyone is wondering the battery trays are cut down stampede chassis's I dyed black and bolted to the side with a piece of lexan to protect and hold in the battery. they work great

@ wolfie1.... I'm glad to hear that the LRP is lasting so long. I like those phatlinetires also.I cleaned out all the shreds of plastic out of my 2-spd. gear box from a stripped 39T gear and it seems to be running OK. I was stripping gears on the regular before. What kind of glow plug you running in the LRP? I've been using MCcoyhot and alsomed. and they seem to cause ultrarich conditions after a few runs. I'll be posting some more of my Savage pics.

Thats a bold claim.. I will send you $20 to your paypal account if you make a vid with a radar confirmed 60mph on one of those trucks (not the flux).... None of those are going over 45-50mph (being very generous with the numbers) with those wheel and tire combos, I'll tell you that.

He said the one was his fastest other than the flux which can hit 60 while bursting into flames.
He didn't say anything about the speed of the nitros other than his flux was faster

Whats the point of having the LST shocks on the front only?
